that's the song we chose for our " i see the music" project. the brief!

i m done with it!!! its ready to b presented!! i m happy with what i did. and i really enjoyed doing it. we are suppose to play the song while sketching. but i didn't! haha. anyway, the song is still stuck in my head!

"we are not suppose to draw a video clip for the song. but to feel the song and draw what u felt."

this song gives me memories of me in my younger days while i was still sleeping with my parents, on a mattress, of course. well, i slept with my parents till i was standard 3 so i wasn't THAT young. i hear this song on the radio almost every day while i was getting ready for school. bluek! 

i did it using illustrator. 

thank god. those days are over. waking up early is really something to dread for.

flip book

finally i started with my flip book. was doin it the whole day. i even missed my appointment with my tch. haiz. i was jus lazy and also i am just embarrassed to show my work!

my theme is deforestation. 

i m still trying to add more ideas in it.

after 6 hours of non stop work.

i have got 58 frames. 

i hate it when my desktop is full.

and yeen asked me to mention that she has done 100+ frames and still has more to go.

so as usual we wanted to surprise her. we always surprise friends during their birthdays till its not a surprise anymore.

thinking of my results this year. i m sooo disappointed. so far i got 2 credits and one, resubmission.

for my 3 cards project,

the proj is divided into think, form and performance. 

for think (the idea), i got a HD. but form(the crafting) i got a pass. i used colour pencils.

it brought my overall marks down. i shouldn't have slacked on that project!!! 

now thinking about my flip book, i cant get a good idea! 

and its due in 3 weeks! 

i got an appointment with the lecturer tomorrow. i got nothing to show him!

after a long day at work, i got this for supper.

yeenn! u seee! even though its raining heavily (mayb not heavily, but its still raining) and soooo super cold, me andd iggy still went to melb central just to cheer u on on ur 1st day of work!

my tattoo.

my name 恩 (en), means grace. a ballerina tattoo to show grace. The top part of the character, 因, is the head of the ballerina in an abstracted form. and the bottom part, 心 (xin) means heart. so i illustrated a heart instead of the word.

In the heart, the 2 profiles to show my personality, joyful and grumpy. an aries sign, separating the 2 faces. 

and some wordings to enhance my tattoo and to fill in the space.

it all represents me!

HOWEVER. i redid it. because it was not well presented. there was this fine black mark at the side of the page. but it was just me, since the lecturer gave us more time to redo, i took it back and did it again and made sure it was super clean in every inch of the paper.

and i forgot to take a picture of it. it is slightly different from the one up there. so hopefully i will get a better mark!

everything can be made interesting,

it just depends on how u capture it.

its another project of mine. capture an object and make it interesting through cropping and angles.

1st pic. a conservative, predictable image composition.

2nd pic. a more visually interesting image composition.

3rd pic. close up photograph.

4th pic. dymanic and potentially more abstract.

graduation night.

finally, foundation graduation was on thurs, 8.05.08.

although, i see my old classmates quite often. BUT i still felt very excited!! 

AND we got to dress up!

got a new brief today. it is soooo cool. 

we get to write a story-line for a MOVIE! and then create a movie poster!

love it! so excited. 

still don't know what genre am i going to go with. but definitely not chick flick or horror.
