yesterday,

after uni, we went to max b to chill, and then we got home at about 6 and i went up to yeen's roomie to chat.

we talked about all sorts of things,

it started with hollywood gossips, to emmy awards best and worst dressed, to weird classmates (i know we are evil. keke), to high school mates, to families from mom's side to dad's side, to reading blogs, to randoms.

and to our surprise, it was midnight already!!

soo officially, its my longest talk (6 hours) without any intervals, the only break was to the toilet, well, actually, we didn't stop our chat too, as the toilet was jus beside her room. haha.

finally we decided to stop talking because we both were hungry as we haven eaten our dinner. and i haven showered. so i decided to get my stuff and shower. while walking down the stairs. i had no idea how it happened! but i guess i didn't place my foot properly and i ....

*bangg boomm* fell! my bottom hit the ground. my phone flew to the kitchen, which is a few steps away from the stairs. my jacket went over the railing.

and my ankle HURTS!! i seriously wanted to cry! but i couldn't! *thanks yeen for helping me up. :)* not sure why. but i was shivering. i didn't feel cold what so ever. but i was shivering. weird!

i hurt this same ankle a few years ago! but tat time was the outer side of my ankle, this time is the inner side. but as long as i remembered, that time was sooo much more painful then this time! haha. and i fell down while walking down the stairs too. IN SCHOOL. how malu! at least this time was at home. hehe.

anyway, i'm still hurting now! the worst thing is my toilet is upstairs!!

im still the same careless me!!!

I got a new part time job. thanks to sher :)

I've been wanting to quit my old job since the day i started but then after a while, i started to like that job. However after a while again, i hated it again because of the customers and sometimes the people i work with. Then sher told me that the place she works at really needed part timers, and asked me to try it out but for some reason i didn't take it. maybe because i was scared to learn from scratch again. And a while later, sher's restaurant didn't have enough people working on that night and so she asked me to call her manager to give me a go. And so I did. Spontaneously, the manager asked me to go over that night itself and help out. I was really scared. So anyway, after that shift, i was like,

hell, i love this jobbb.

so finally i quit my old job and am currently working in...

WAGAMAMA.

btw, this restaurant started off in the UK and has branches all over europe. its a japanese restaurant for westerners.

and because i'm new, i don't know the menu well yet, so i worked in the bar. the bar i mean is not the bar bar. but the bar where drinks are made. my job is making juices (recipes are on the wall) and pouring wine and opening beers and sometimes serving the drinks.

Its an expensive restaurant, one meal cost about 17 to 20 dollars. The people i worked with are really nice, really helpful and always checking back on me to see whether i'm okay or not. if there are too many dockets, that is when i panic, they will give me a hand.

not only i like the people working with me and making drinks, i love the smell and the interior of the restaurant too. it smells sooo good always. the toilets are so clean too and there is soap in the toilets!! the interior, mostly everything is made out of wood.

most important is that i get paid sooo much higher. not sure how much but i think its 12 dollars per hour?

Day 1!

off we gooo!

the chain for the tyre. its for more grip when we go up the mountain.

finally after 6 hours of driving.

i see snow!! woots!

the view of the mountains and snow were just breath taking.

After checking in, time to get our equipment!

there is a choice between snowboarding and skiing.

we chose snowboarding! coz its cooler!!

first, the shoes. the shoes suppose to be super tight to prevent injures, it took me a while for my foot to get in there. and its really hard walking in them especially goin up and down the stairs.

the boards!! the length of the board is according to your height. the board should be until ur chin when held vertical.

the wind breakers, oh, its super warm in there. i just wore 2 long sleeves shirts under it and it was warm enough.

Day 2!

snowboarding time! the slope where lessons are conducted and the chair lift to the summit, a slope for beginners.

i was one of the slow ones.

my cookie keychain on my camera was hanging out of my pocket.

i fell down countless times during our lesson,

and thats how all the snow got into his mouth and all over his body.

after lunch, we headed up to the summit!

the slope was *gulpp* super longgg.

and it was my 1st time taking the chair lift. i was scared!!!! the wind was so strong and the chair was swinging from side to side.

and another problem was getting off the ramp, i just fell off the chair as i could not balance on my board and they gotta stop the chair lifts for me to get out of the way.

*bangga* i went up that slope 3 times in i think about 3 hours? haha.

the 1st time up there, i just kept falling and falling. and after every fall, i will take a 10 mins break, just by sitting on the snow, in the middle of the slope.

i guess the other skiers will be like " get out of the way! "

but i cant, im just exhausted.

then the 2nd and 3rd time was better.

my 3rd time on that slope, jolyn and hsingfu just reached the bottom of the slope for the 1st time.

guess wat where they doing, when all of us were snowboarding.

eh..eh.. look at them..

that was when all of us started teasing them.

they were making mr snowman! like doink!

and cam whore in the middle of the slope???

after 1 day of snowboarding!!

happy yet injured!

all of us were complaining about bruises on our knees and bambam.

Day 3!

thats ME!!! in action!

it was a veri veri misty and foggy day. i actually din intend to snowboard that day because of my veri veri sore bottom! and my tail bone was hurting veri badly.

however, i didnt want to waste the lesson that i had already paid for.

surprisingly i did not fall as much as i did the day before.

it was then snowboarding became so fun.

gliding down without falling, the feeling was great.

even though soo many skiers and snow-boarders were gliding pass me at great speed.

i still felt proud!

seee! at least we could all stop at a same stop,

BREAK, SIT, TAKE A PHOTO.

before this when the instructor wanted us to group up. we will all land in different spots, as we still could not control the board tat well, and then we will drag the boards and our bams to the instructor or if we are too tired we will just take off the board and walk there.

its my first time seeing REAL snow! and touching it.

the snow was sooo fluffy! really wanted to just lie down.

jolyn did not sit properly on that chair lift and she sledded down. luckily hsingfu was there to grab on to her and luckily she herself grabbed on to the chair!

so the operators of the chair stopped the conveyer and untied her board, as it was the one pulling her down. then she lost her grip and fell to the ground.

luckily it wasnt that high up!

lucky her!!

pheww* luckily it wasnt me sitting beside her. i think i will b the 1st one to scream! and i dont think my reaction will be fast enough to catch her.

i was listening to a sermon by Pastor Joseph Prince on the way to the country.

and i totally agree with what he said.

human brain is divided into what-if's and if-only's

its because..

half of the time, people ask themselves..

"what if i don't pass the exam.

what if my boyfriend is cheating on me.

what if... what if... what if..."

and the other half of the time, they ask themselves..

"if only i had gone to that dinner.

what if's are worrying about the future.

why worry about the future when you not there yet.

it really woke me up! all these time i have been worrying soooo much and regretting soooo much about things yet to happen and things i have done.

went to the country with my uncle's family.

we went to a place called noojee. its 135km away from melbourne.

had lunch at... the outpost.

its a fine dining restaurant. we ordered a variety of meat, we had lamb steak pork venison duck.

the food was sooo goood!! the desserts were great tooo!!!

after tat. we toured around that small town.

the trestle bridge.

it was raining so we didn't go on to the bridge. it looks so dangerous anyway.

then. we went to the glen nayook reserve. really lovely greenery.

it was a long time since i exercised.

the view of the country.

hit the road after that.

it was a really gooodd experience! we travelled through many forests and vineyards for 4 hours in total just for good food.

however, there was the big freeze event going on in melbourne on that same day. so i missed it. sobs. really wanted to go.

i think it will freak many people out since "the happening" is already showing in cinemas.

i m done with it!!! its ready to b presented!! i m happy with what i did. and i really enjoyed doing it. we are suppose to play the song while sketching. but i didn't! haha. anyway, the song is still stuck in my head!

thinking of my results this year. i m sooo disappointed. so far i got 2 credits and one, resubmission.

for my 3 cards project,

the proj is divided into think, form and performance.

for think (the idea), i got a HD. but form(the crafting) i got a pass. i used colour pencils.

it brought my overall marks down. i shouldn't have slacked on that project!!!

now thinking about my flip book, i cant get a good idea!

and its due in 3 weeks!

i got an appointment with the lecturer tomorrow. i got nothing to show him!

my name 恩 (en), means grace. a ballerina tattoo to show grace. The top part of the character, 因, is the head of the ballerina in an abstracted form. and the bottom part, 心 (xin) means heart. so i illustrated a heart instead of the word.

In the heart, the 2 profiles to show my personality, joyful and grumpy. an aries sign, separating the 2 faces.

and some wordings to enhance my tattoo and to fill in the space.

it all represents me!

HOWEVER. i redid it. because it was not well presented. there was this fine black mark at the side of the page. but it was just me, since the lecturer gave us more time to redo, i took it back and did it again and made sure it was super clean in every inch of the paper.

and i forgot to take a picture of it. it is slightly different from the one up there. so hopefully i will get a better mark!

1. you will be given a set of songs. from that list, your group should choose one.

2. listen to the song over and over again. set repeat in your ipod and press play. i mean live the song dude. ( my brief actually says tat, dude! haha. )

3. take a sketch book and sketch while you listen. maybe what you sketch one day might be different from another day.

4. divide the song within the group. (break it by time or by musical section or by music and then by lyrics)

5. each member will represent their section of the song into exactly 20 frames prepared for projection.

the restaurant was fully packed during lunch time. and my was my 1st day.

they expect me to learn everything during tat 5 minutes and go out to serve, take orders and clear the tables. And the customers love to ask questions, and i was like stunt...

that is wat i say most of the time!

i don even know the menu.

anddd the pay is jus 7 per hour. they are exploiting me! the minimum wage is 10 per hour! come on!!! that is y u shouldn't work for asians.

working for ang mos, you can at least get about 10 per hour! imagine how much you earn in a day! compared to me? haizz.

anyway. i will jus work there for the experience. then when i get another job, i will ditch them!

hahah.. hope i can get another job easily! and hope it is soonn!!
